Were those hover-bike speeders the right vehicles for that terrain anyway? The question still gives me pause, two decades hence. A shockingly prejudicial comment from a droid whose job involves interpretation and protocol! Perhaps his experience in the giant jawa transport was not a pleasant one? Regardless, it looks like C-3PO needs an intervention from a consultant on diversity.

If you look closely during this scene, you can see Harrison Ford mouthing Carrie Fisher's lines, as she was under drug influence at the time.
