The USA won the gold at the 1960 winter games in Squaw Valley going a perfect 7-0-0 record, and then the famous "Miracle on Ice" team went 6-0-1 at Lake Placid. In 2002, the Americans went 4-0-1 before losing to Canada, and wound up with the silver.
